Our very own, “yours truly” who makes a cheeky visit at entry number 19 is our own Dobe-babe; Zoe.
I’m going to try my best and not ramble to much but I thought right now will be worth letting you all know how and why we got her.
Zoe, unfortunately suffers with extreme separation anxiety however it is getting better. As it stands, the longest we have had to leave her for was 5-6 hours and that was due to my partner and I was away and had planned it for months, Paris (brother, her official dad) and our actual dad had to work leaving “Little Miss & The Lads” on their own and honestly, we can’t be more proud as she had only ruined our back-door vent (easily replaced) we have got her on “anti-crazy pills” as we call them (and trust me, when you've been on anti-depressants yourself for the same thing, it’s a fitting name!)
All thanks to Reggie & Nika’s human-parents for recommending this particular herbal remedy & supplement which we had never heard of before even meeting Karen and Paul. Since then, everyone’s been raving about it and it’s worked wonders on our girl. If you ever want to give it a go, those who has dogs them and even from us, highly recommend looking into Dorwest: Scullcap & Valerian Tablets and maybe giving it a go.
Since Zoe has been on them, we’ve had minimal damages done and she seems to be getting more confident and comfortable within not just herself but her surroundings too. But then that could just be that she’s getting used to the idea of us being her “owners”.
We wouldn’t change the crazy clan that we have now for the world, massive thank you to Khym for not just trusting us completely as owners but for allowing Zoe to be part of our family - we really could’t see our future with her. Granted, it’s taken us basically 18 years to become Dobermann owners but in all honesty, we could not of had a better Dobermann. (Even if she is like her Aunty Peggy and is completely impatient.. Whether it be food or attention…)
Zoe’s siblings are featured in this blog too!
1.) Bruce is actually her full brother, same parents however he was from a previous litter. (A couple years apart) But we love the bond that Bruce and Zoe has and one of the reasons we was more than happy to take Zoe on into our household.
2) Coco it was only a few months ago I actually realised that Coco and Zoe are full siblings from the same litter and it was by completely accident!
3) Kody another happy accident to find out, she has a brother literally living up the road from us! Such happy times. We often meet up with Kody for Zoe to bond with as this is pretty much what we wanted from the start. It’s bloody adorable to see them play!
We would love to feature more of Zoe’s siblings in the book, in this blog, so if your Dobermann was born on 07/07/2018 and Momma was Phoenix please contact me!
